COREe founder, Angie Gaucin, spent twenty years working in the DD community before making the decision to open her own agency. It was her dream to create a safe haven that would put the needs of the individuals first and encourage them to reach for their goals and dreams. Since COREE opened its doors in 2007, Angie has been joined by her husband Victor and her sister Manda Brackman. Together they have worked tirelessly to see the agency grow and prosper. Their goal is that COREe excellence will be displayed in the homes, staff, and individuals that are served. Currently COREe operates 6 supported living homes and serve 30 individuals, including respite and drop-ins. In 2012, the COREe agency expanded by opening the doors to its own day habilitation program. In 2021 COREe opened the vocational habilitation, called the WOW program (World of Work). Also, in 2021 COREe opened an ice cream shop called Mya's Sweet Treats, which works as a group employment. In 2022 Top Dog opened as a restaurant that also is an employment group, providing individuals with opportunities for learning work experiences that develop skills that help lead to integrated community employment.
